Drawing on our experience in venture capital, we have advised Lingotto on its investment in Neura robotics as part of a USD1.4B fundraising round. Neura is one of Europe's most highly valued AI start-ups – the current round values it at around USD7B and the raise was Europe's biggest ever robotics round. Lingotto is an investment management firm founded with the intention of creating long-term value by embracing the extraordinary. Its latest investment in Neura is part of an investment round alongside some of the biggest names in the tech industry. Neura was founded in 2019 and makes humanoid robots. This latest funding round includes investment from some of the biggest companies in global AI, manufacturing and technology. They will use the funding round to increase production capacity for its humanoid robots, which has been a long-time stumbling block for many European tech start-ups.
